Waxing
Waxing is a popular hair removal method that uses hot wax or cold wax to remove hair from the root. When waxing the legs, the basic steps are usually as follows:
1. Cleanse the skin: Before waxing, the skin should be cleansed to remove dirt and excess oil from the surface.
2. Apply the wax: Wax is applied to the area where hair needs to be removed. Hot wax (or cold wax) is spread evenly over the skin in the direction of hair growth.
3. Place the cloth strip (or waxing paper): After applying the wax, a cloth strip or waxing paper is placed on top to help remove the wax and hair.
4. Pull quickly: After waiting a few seconds for the wax to firmly adhere to the hair, the strip is pulled off quickly in the opposite direction of hair growth. A sharp pain may be felt, but it is brief, and the hair is removed effectively.
5. Post-wax care: After hair removal, a soothing cream or lotion can be applied to calm the skin and help prevent irritation or redness.
