Facial Skin Care
Below is the Facial Skincare Procedure
1. Reception and Consultation
- The spa staff asks about skin type, skin concerns, allergy history, and skincare habits.
- The skin is examined visually or with skin analysis equipment to determine pore condition, oil level, acne, pigmentation, etc.
- A suitable treatment plan is created: hydration, brightening, anti-aging, acne treatment, or skin detoxification.
2. Makeup Removal
- Remove makeup, sunscreen, and dirt from the skin.
- Use cleansing oil or professional makeup remover.
- Perform gently, especially around the eye and lip areas.
3. Deep Facial Cleansing
- Use a facial cleanser suitable for the skin type, gently massaging in circular motions.
- Some spas use facial cleansing machines or soft brushes for deep cleansing.
4. Exfoliation
- Remove dead skin cells on the surface, helping brighten the skin and allowing better serum absorption.
- Spas usually use:
+ Physical scrub: fine particles, gentle massage.
+ Chemical peel: AHA, BHA, PHA depending on skin type and treatment purpose.
5. Facial Steaming (If Needed)
- Open pores and soften the skin to make it easier to remove blackheads or extract sebum
- Duration: 5–10 minutes, with moderate heat.
6. Acne Extraction or Deep Cleansing
- Use hands or professional extraction devices to remove sebum and blackheads.
- Perform gently and hygienically to avoid skin damage.
7. Face, Neck, and Shoulder Massage
- Massage using hands or professional tools: gua sha, stone rollers, massage machines.
- Purpose:
+ Relax facial and shoulder muscles.
+ Stimulate blood circulation and enhance nutrient absorption.
+Reduce swelling and tension.
8. Mask Application
- Choose a mask suitable for the skin condition:
+ Hydrating, brightening, detox, anti-aging.
- Duration: 10–20 minutes.
- Light massage may be combined during mask application.
9. Serum / Intensive Treatment
- Use treatment products: vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, peptides, retinol…
- Massage or gently pat to increase absorption.
10. Moisturizer and Sunscreen
- Daytime: moisturizer + sunscreen SPF 30+
- Nighttime: moisturizer to lock in moisture and repair the skin.
11. Notes and Post-Spa Instructions
- Avoid makeup for a few hours after the treatment.
- Drink enough water, avoid sun exposure, and use sunscreen when going outside.
- Follow regular treatment sessions to maintain results: 1–2 times per week or as advised by specialists.
